There are two main committees to run the Friends – the Management Committee and the Executive Committee, both of which meet once a month.
The Management Committee is comprised of the officers of the Association, the Immediate Past President and up to 14 members drawn from the wider Friends community, and appointed for two-year terms, with half the positions being up for re-election each year. This group works out the fine detail of the plans and ideas put forward by the Executive.
The Executive Committe includes six elected officers and the Immediate Past President; it is generally drawn from experienced members of the Management Committee, and is responsible for presenting new plans and ideas to the Management Committe for consideration and implementation.
